NorthStar Staff

It's been 1 and half months since I arrived at NorthStar and things are rocking here! I'm enjoying every single day of my stay here. It's nice to be in the cool mountains... while the rest of Japan is sizzling in the summer heat!

This waterfall is called Zengoro Taki and the mountains behind it is called Norikura dake. This site here is about 15min walk from Northstar and some days I do my quiet time there.
It took me about 2 weeks to really adjust to the place and people. But all is cool now.

My Summer team at NorthStar is made of up really awesome individuals and I love working with them. Seth and Tyler are missionaries from Oregon, USA and according to them, everything good originated from Oregon! Makoto is Japanese but his mom is American. He sleeps in the NorthStar closet. The rest of us are here only for summer. Troy and his wife, Martina(not in picture) are from Canada. Martina is a Swede and very sweet. They are staff with YWAM. Sabrina, the German gal is finishing her last year in college. She also does not fail to haunt me every night after 10pm with "I'm bored! Play wif me!". Steph is the teenage English gal who loves to sing and is practically a walking jukebox!

Bottom Left : Seth, Makoto

Kayo, Michie and Berndette are Kitchen staff. Kayo's a pro chef and every meal's REALLY GOOD!

Sabrina, Michie and Kayo crawled into my bed uninvited, refusing to let me sleep....

I am the "German Gal" and thanks to me Kim is never bored after 10 pm. But somehow she doesn't appreciate it. One thing that Kim forgot to post is that she turned into Dr. Kim the Chinese Medicine Women. At least that's what everybody knows her for here at Northstar. Her Dad would be so proud, since his little daughter is distributing his miracle drug in Japan. It became especially popular under Northstar's staff. Kim made us believe that it can really cure any desease. I'm not too sure about that, though!
Blessinx,
Sabrina

Ok, just so ya'll know ; Dr. Kim's medicine is awesome..especially for those stupid buyjo bites! And my beeeeee sting! I love that green stuff. And it smells so good. I almost want to eat it.. maybe with cereal? I should set up a blog spot just to celebrate the chinese medicine. I don't know about rubbing bruises though..that feels a little wrong. K bye bye and out.

HurRay for Chinese Medicine. Yes Anonymous, rubbing bruises is not a good idea (definitely not a good experience!), but it helps. I guess.

Hey germAN gal, thanks for playing with Kim After 10. I will strongly encourage & suggest you to postpone that inclination till about 11 PM. Works wonder! Have FUN playing with Dr Kim!!!

Hey Dososo,
DANSEI deshou? Yeah, Kim told me all about it. Funny! Don't worry, Kim has mixed up Chinese and Japanese before, too. It really entertained us during dinner!
About keeping Kim up untill 11 o'clock at night ... I don't know if that is a good idea. She is waking up with puffy eyes almost every morning. Kind of scary ... I wonder how big her eye bags can get. They might explode one day. I'm surely glad she has her Chinese Medicine ... might save her eye balls! Don't you think? It's all about rubbing it in real good, isn't it? Oh gee, it's already 10:10 pm and I haven't played "wif" Kim yet. She looks kind of confused, I better go,

Hey Zhaolong!
thanks for reminding me not to be a 'nite mosquito'...german gal does not understand. but i think it meant not to be as annoying as a mosquito buzzing around your ears at night.i seriously think i should be sleeping earlier nowadays. like maybe 10pm Japan time. that was my initial bedtime. i've been having late nights these days, like 11.30 or 12pm...probably due to some european influences. it's good on one hand, cos i get to chat online with my singaporean cool kids, but it's bad cos i get hungry again around 11pm. so i have been having late night supper, which is not good at all. *sigh*. life is hard....

hey "GeRman gal", rubbing cHINese medicine on the eye balls is not a good idea at all. How can you think of something so 'HorriBLe'?!
Try it on the eye bags instead. Just a tiny drop of e wonDARful green medicine and rub it gently on the eye bags (prevent it from exploding, that's for sure).

Suggested time: 6 AM. (but that means you have to wake up early) Hmm, maybe 10 PM will do. That'll Spice up your play time together too!

Suggested Stand-in Doc to help Dr Kim herself: German ger, no one else must intervene.

btw, wAtashi WA JYO sei dayo! gaaah

Yeah Steph, just blame the poor little German Girl for your misery! I'll get over it ... one day (cry!).
I actually think that the whole English-speaking world should convert to the Singapore slang, u noe?
Excuse me if I didn't get my Singaporean right, I'm still an apprentice of Dr. Kim.

I would really like to know who you are too, tiggity. It's kind of scary that you admire Kim's medicine. I hope you are not another convert of her! O.K., please tell us your real name, because it's driving Kim and me nuts. Thank you!

I FOUND OUT ...
...who this mysterious TIGGITY is. Yah, I know I should become a pro investigator. However, I am pretty sure that Tyler is the unknown. Even though it is a rather girlish name. Gosh Tyler, what's wrong with you? (eh, I hope it really is Tyler) Well at least TIGGITY is one of the contributers of NORTHSTAR's blog, so the chances are pretty high. I think I should get a GOLD STAR for finding that out. Please feel free to congratulate me everyone ;-)
